Although 9th Avenue is the "main drag" of Inglewood, I have found many of the most awesome locations are a block off this more beaten path, lying along 8th Avenue SE. One of these gems is what I call the "old white barn". It appears to be a now-abandoned building and field (it must have a care-taker though as the grass is usually nicely mowed...) with some gorgeous lines, wonderfully aged paint and it also offers some wonderful open shade for sessions that may take place in the middle of the day. And hey, because it's white, it offers a wonderfully neutral reflector for some awesome catchlights and shadow fill too!
A little place to rest in the shade or burn off a bit of energy in the middle of a session |
Gorgeous fill, gorgeous texture, gorgeous clients ;) |
Be sure to check back on Monday for #2 in our count-down of the best of unknown Inglewood...
Cheers!
